im back,
I havent used my tumblr in so long, i have been crazy sick.
Ive been in hospital for 3 weeks now, and had a hell of a ride.
Started out thinking i had pneumonia and ended up being diognosed with a rare blood disease, 1 in 2 million just my luck.
But the diognosis wasnt easy, they were treating me for a staff infection and pneumonia and i was on heaps of antibiotics via iv, then when i wasn’t reponding to treatment and getting sicker they had to look else where, i was having blood tests at least twice a day,
On the wednesday before my birthday i was so sick that they were scared that i wasnt going to live through this, my lungs were ready to explode. But thankfully they diagnosed me with My condition and started treatment, i had chemo on the 18th , and spent my 16th birthday in the hospital on the 20th, (not so much fun) But ive made it through the other side now and am on the mend,
Im off oxygen, (i was on it 24/7 ) and im now starting to walk around a little to get my strength back. I have another round of chemo this friday and then again in 2 weeks and then just after christmas, My life has completely changed in the last 3 weeks, i now have to be on medication all the time and have to watch everything i do. The chance of losing my hair is extremely depressing for me as my hair is my only shred of confidence. But because my chemo isn’t as intense as some there’s a chance i wont loose it all.
I miss out on my formal tonight, my friends are all out getting their hair and makeup done ready for an amazing night and i’m stuck in a bed watching crappy cartoons
